How many photos will I receive from my session?
I average on delivering around 75+ shots per hour of shooting.
Do you travel?
For family and couple’s sessions I will travel up to 35 miles one-way from my location (near Brown Deer Park in Milwaukee for reference) and for weddings I will travel up to 60 miles one-way.
How long do sessions last?
All sessions are 60 minutes in length, with the exception of business branding sessions which are 2 hours.
When will I receive my final gallery?
For weddings, you can expect your full gallery delivery between 8-10 weeks. For all other sessions, the turnaround is 2-3 weeks.
How do you ensure the safety of the images captured?
For each session and wedding, I shoot with two Nikon D750’s that each have two memory card slots — one main card, and one card that backs up everything on the first card. After your session, I offload the cards onto my computer as well as one external hard drive. The main cards are then put into a fireproof and waterproof safe and stored there until your gallery is fully edited and delivered to you!
Can I bring multiple outfits to my session?
For couple’s sessions I recommend bringing 2 to keep it fun and dynamic, and for family sessions we typically only have time for one unless it’s a very quick and efficient change! Outfit changes are a part of the total session time, so please note it may effect the amount of photos delivered.
What do we in the case of inclement weather?
For weddings, the show must go on! We will do our best to use tree cover, building overhangs, and my stash of clear umbrellas to achieve naturally lit photos before we would have to move indoors. For family and couple’s sessions, if I feel the weather will greatly impede on the quality of the photos & your experience, we will reschedule the session to the nearest possible date.
Will I receive print rights to my photos?
Yes, printing rights come with every session purchase.
Can I get any RAW copies of the files?
I do not offer any RAW file delivery.
Do you charge for editing time?
Nope - editing time is included in all the pricing listed here on my site!
Are there any other fees I should expect before booking?
Additional Mileage Fee: I build in 60 miles worth of travel cost into each wedding and 35 miles worth into each session. After the first 60 or 35 miles, there will then be an additional charge of $0.65 on the mile. This will be calculated and agreed upon before we book the session and a contract is signed, so no surprises for you!
Extended Family Session - Additional Members: this is an additional $10 per person charge after the session consists of more than 6 family members. So once we hit the 7th family member, add on another ten bucks, and so on, and so forth!
Studio Session Fee - This fee will differ depending on which studio we book and for how long. You will be fully informed on the studio fee before booking.
Do you do any kind of re-touching during editing?
The only type of re-touching I do is if you have a surprise break out before your session or if your little one got a bruise on their forehead at the most inconvenient time! I’ve got your back with some light re-touching in that area. But I like to keep my photography as natural looking as possible, so I go easy on that for sure!
